  • “I was introduced to Ayurveda through yoga, and I thought - why not? Why do I have to lose for a healthier life? I’ve been working personally with Anjali for over 2 years and I’ve seen such a huge difference in my life! Every nugget of information that I learn about Ayurveda through my work with Anjali has made me curious to learn more. So when Anjali had brought up that she’s starting an Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor certification program, I naturally jumped on the opportunity to join it. I couldn’t be happier being in this program - diving deeper into Ayurveda, being part of the Ayurvedic community, and having the opportunity to help others that are looking to improve their lives! I highly recommend anyone that’s looking into Ayurveda to work with Anjali. She’s such a delight to work with!”

  • "What a great experience this AWC training has been! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to study with Anjali. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about this ancient tradition, she also makes the material feel very real and applicable to modern life. In addition, the guest instructors she brings in are phenomenal. I can’t wait to start practicing and share this amazing system of healing with others!"

    - Former Student

  • Your mentorship, counseling, and guidance have been so healing and transformative for me over the past (almost) two years! I have sooo much respect for the work you are bringing into the world and the way you show up for others through your work. I feel incredibly grateful to be in a position to learn from you and work with you. I have benefited so much from my time in Madhya Way and from the scholarship that I was given that made it possible for me to attend. If there is any way I may be of support and give back to you or Madhya Way please don't hesitate to ask! I am here! “

    - Former mentee

  • Anjali is a wonderful teacher. She is connected, gentle, and incredibly supportive. Her Ayurvedic knowledge and practice are vast, deep, and manifestly authentic. The programing was dynamic and adaptive, flowing with the needs of the students, and presented in an approachable and digestible format. Beyond the incredible amount of knowledge received, I also came to love and appreciate the weekly classes for community and calm. Anjali’s loving and serene nature infuses these sessions, providing deep connection as well as lasting education and purpose.

OUR MISSION

HONORING THE LIVING LINEAGE OF AYURVEDA

Ayurveda has traditionally been passed down through teaching, community, and daily life — not only through clinical settings. This program honors that lineage.

By training practitioners who can bring Ayurveda into kitchens, classrooms, yoga spaces, and community centers, we are making this wisdom more accessible and alive for modern people.

YOUR LEAD INSTRUCTOR

Taught by someone who has walked this path herself.

Anjali Deva

Ayurvedic Practitioner · Educator · Second-Generation Healer

Ayurveda found me through my father, Arun Deva — an Ayurvedic practitioner and my main teacher. But as a first-generation American with divorced parents, my intention was simply to fit in. Years of eating poorly, running on stress, and not sleeping left me with significant anxiety, digestive issues, and eczema. Something deep within kept suggesting they were all connected, but no doctor could tell me how or why.

That question began my journey back to Ayurveda and its three pillars: food, sleep, and energy regulation. When changing my diet started shifting my digestion and eczema, I knew I needed to go deeper. I left college and attended Kerala Ayurveda Academy, and that journey took me to India and across the US to study with doctors, practitioners, and healers who continue to shape how I practice.

Over a decade of study, I've woven together multiple modalities — Western herbalism, self-compassion practices, meditation, yoga, and trauma-informed care. Growing up in a home shaped by addiction and eventually losing my mother to it taught me firsthand how deeply trauma lives in the body. That understanding is at the heart of everything we do here.
